Assistive Technology Training Online ProjectThis project proposes to develop, implement, evaluate and disseminate a model program to address the diverse, multi-level needs for Assistive Technology training by exploring the potential of web-based instruction to create virtual workshops. The training model will focus on the use of adapted computer technology to facilitate the educational process and independent participation of students with disabilities in elementary (K-5) classrooms. By offering information and training on the use of AT, more people will see the potential of AT tools, select and use them with students to make it easier and more efficient for them to achieve. Funding Sources The ATTO Project is funded from September, 1998 through August, 2002. Our grant # is H324M980014. Additional support is provided by the School of Public Health and Health Professions and the Center for Assistive Technology at the University at Buffalo.
